Saturday, was a very full day for the Vo's!!!

We never get to sleep in on the weekends because Noah never fails to wake up before 730am. He jumps up on our bed and lays right between Elijah and I and says, " The sun is UP! Time to wake UP!" Or sometimes he will YELL for us from across the room because he is being too lazy to get out of bed. He never fails us!! Our weekend mornings are GREAT because we just lay in bed and snuggle, talk about our dreams, watch cartoons, and make plans for the weekend. I especially LOVE it when Elijah lets me sleep until 9 or 10 am!

So we have been planning to sell all our living room furniture and TV/entertainment center for the pass 2 years now but haven't been able to because then we would have to replace everything. We offered my sister $500 for everything and she wants it but not sure when she will purchase it. So we are just holding off until she is readywhich gives us time to save. This pass weekend we went around comparing prices for a TV and went back to Macy's to see if they had the leather sectional couch with a chaise on sale. But come to find out, it was discontinued and the floor model went on sale for $200. I know, Elijah and I were so bummed that we missed out on it and the sale. It was just what we wanted with a chaise and a recliner. The picture is kinda what we wanted without the recliner and the full size chaise. It's back to comparing and shopping!

Elijah is planning to put his skills into place, as well as learn some new ones. He will be doing all the wiring of the cables, outlets, and surround systems. It's going to be GREAT when we are done! OOOhhhhhh, I can't wait but of course this will all take some time, energy and $$$$$!

~

After being disappointed, we went tree shopping. We have been planning to plant more trees in our front and back yards but haven't really put the time/energy into researching about what type of trees we want. Last year we planted a live oak. What we didn't know about this tree is that it takes a long time to grow so by the time we plan to sell this house it won't be at it's mature growth. We would like to plant about two more in the front yard, a tulip popular and an autumn blaze maple tree.

Autumn Blaze Maple~ Tulip Popular ~ Live Oak

In the back yard I would like to plant about 4 to 5 trees. One of my favorites are the Japanese Maple Tree!!! They are so beautiful and the star like leaf are so unusual!

And in the fall they turn this all sorts of colors that remains me of Arkansas.

Cleveland Flowering~Mimosa~Double Knot Rose Trees

I also would like to have a rose garden filled with old fashion roses.

Madame Hardy~ Charles De Mills~Cardinal De Richelieu

Ispahan~Great Maidens Blush~Celsiana

Just some other flowering plants I would like to grow.

Debutante Camellia~Flowering Almond~Gardenia First Love

We also would like to extend our back porch out to make an L shape. Maybe put an outdoor fire pit and enclose area for a sun room with a hot tub completely wired entrainment system by no other then my skillful husband, Elijah!!! Something like this but a smaller enclosed version with a two sided fire pit. So you can enjoy it while your in the hot tub and outside the enclosed area.
I need to win a million dollars so I can make my dreams come true. I guess in time they will but for now I can just DREAM.

It's good to dream and plan! I love all your ideas. I like that couch a lot. I wish I had room for a sectional. They are so awesome for families to sit on together.

I LOVE those pink roses. Those are beautiful. Those trees look great too. It's funny, we have a Japanese maple, and I don't like them! The last owner planted it. But I have to agree with the firepit. I love them and hope in our next house we can have one. I guess I am dreaming too!

Great to hear all your guys' wishes and plans!
